ScopeVu ("we", "us", "our") is a construction intelligence mobile application. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Account Information
- Email address, display name, and role (provided during signup)
- Company name (for team accounts)
Construction Data
- PDF plan sets you upload for AI analysis
- Field photos you capture or upload
- Walkdown audio recordings
- Questions you ask the AI assistant
- Change notes created by project managers
Device Information
- Device push notification tokens (for sending alerts)
- Camera and microphone access (only when you initiate photo capture or audio recording)
Usage Data
- App screens visited and features used
- Error logs for debugging
How We Use Your Information
- AI Analysis: Your plan sets, photos, and audio are processed by Google Gemini AI to provide construction-specific answers, analyze photos, and transcribe recordings.
- Team Collaboration: Change notes and walkdown summaries are shared with your project team members.
- Push Notifications: We send alerts for new change notes, walkdown completions, and other project updates.
- Service Improvement: Aggregated usage data helps us improve the app.
Data Storage & Security
- All data is stored in Google Cloud (Firebase Firestore and Cloud Storage)
- Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest
- Authentication uses Firebase Auth with secure token verification
- Each company's data is isolated and only accessible to authorized team members
Third-Party Services
- Google Cloud / Firebase: Infrastructure, authentication, data storage
- Google Gemini AI (Vertex AI): AI analysis of plans, photos, and audio
- Expo: Push notification delivery
- RevenueCat: Subscription management (no payment card data collected by us — handled by Apple and Google)
We do not sell your data to third parties.
Data Retention
- Your data is retained while your account is active
- You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us
- Deleted accounts are purged within 30 days
